Our Current Shows

The shows below are performed on our spectacularly sparkly puppet stages which can be set up in the MP room, cafeteria, library and most classrooms. They can be performed for as few as 20 and up to 400 students. Quick to set up, they require no special lighting and are our most budget friendly productions.

This production starts with the classic race of the Tortoise and the Hare. Hare, super speedy; Tortoise, slow and steady. Who will win? The conclusion of the race takes place on the “Troll Bridge” waking up the Grumpy Old Troll. Three Billy Goats must find a way to outwit the Troll and get across the bridge so they can enjoy the field of green, green grass. Little Billy, his older sister Brittany, and their father Bruno all try to trip-trap their way across the bridge. Will they make it?

Lieutenant Longears and his Battalion of Bunnies must complete the final delivery of Easter eggs before Sergeant Cottontail blows his top. However, the Big Bad Wolf has other plans for the eggs. He wants to eat them all! Will Wolf get all the eggs for himself? Will Lt. Longears be able to save the day? Find out in Puppet Art Theater’s “Bunny Bootcamp!!”

The classic tale, told Puppet Art Theater style. Cinderella wants to attend the ball and dance the night away. Unfortunately her step mother and awful step sisters conspire against Cinderella and is it up to her Fairy Godmother to get her to the Ball. Will Cinderella get to dance the night away? Will the Price find the foot that fits the glass slipper? Find out in Cinderella!

Gretel overhears her stepmother convince her father to lead she and her brother into the forest and leave them there for good. Hansel’s plan to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find their way home fails miserably and he and Gretel are left in the forest to fend for themselves. It is there that they discover a house made of Gingerbread. Little did they know the house belongs to a Wicked Old Witch. Will Hansel and Gretel escape the Witch and find their way home? Find out in “Hansel and Gretel!”

We have Winter Holiday versions of several of our shows including “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Jack and the Beanstalk”, and “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”. Each production preserves the essence of the original story but adds fun Holiday twists that audiences love! Great for November and December bookings!

Jack has traded his cow for magic wishing beans much to his mother’s dismay.  In frustration, Jack’s mom tosses the beans out the window where they grow into a huge beanstalk.  Up the beanstalk goes Jack and the adventure begins! Will Jack defeat the Giant? Will he take home the golden egg laying chicken? Find out in Jack and the Beanstalk.

A nutty version of the classic fairy tale done Puppet Art Theater style. Little Red and her dog Fifi are taking pepperoni pizza to Grandma’s when they run into the wolf. Wolf loves pizza and plots to get Red’s. Join Little Red, Fifi and Grandma as they try to keep the wolf from eating them and their pepperoni pizza.

Princess Penny is happy to be home from her world travels, until she discovers there are problems in the kingdom. A dragon has been spotted in the hills above the castle, and her father, the King, has been giving all of the kingdom’s gold to a wizard who claims he can keep the dragon away. Penny suspects something fishy. Will Penny get to the bottom of the mystery? Is there really a dragon? Find out in “Tale of the Dragon’s Tail!”

An updated zany version of a classic tale. The boy is bored watching his lamb and decides to make things more exciting by turning on his dad’s wolf alarm, the “Wolf Alert 3000.” Tricking his dad is all fun and games until a real wolf shows up. Will the audience help the boy escape from the wolf? Find out in “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.”

Three pigs strike out on their own looking to have fun and adventures. But first, they must build houses for themselves. Straw, sticks, bricks, and a huffing and puffing Big Bad Wolf add up to hilarity and mayhem in this adaptation of the classic story, “The Three Little Pigs.”

Tommy’s back and he and his dog Fifi are enjoying living on Alligator Island, at least until the pirates show up. Pirate’s X’s and mixed up treasure land Tommy and his dog in big trouble with Barnacle Billy and the evil Captain Rigatoni. Confusion and mayhem lead to fun as Tommy ends up playing pirates for real in “Tommy’s Pirate Adventure.”

Tommy loves books about outer space and space aliens. His greatest wish is to someday meet a real live space alien. Little did Tommy know his wish was about to come true. Zeenon the Alien travels millions of light years to visit earth and to meet interesting earthlings like Tommy. Mad scientist, Dr. Lost N. Space is also interested in Space Aliens…interested in selling them for millions of dollars! Will Tommy be able to save his new found friend from the evil Dr. Lost N. Space?
