September's Show: Hansel and Gretel
Field trips can create lasting memories and foster a love of learning, but transportation costs, volunteer coordination and permission slips can make them a hassle.
Here’s a great way to take your class on a virtual visit to Puppet Art’s Studio without all the fuss. Students will enjoy a live-streamed, interactive puppet performance and then participate in a virtual studio tour to see how the show was created and performed.

Gretel overhears her stepmother convince her father to lead she and her brother into the forest and leave them there for good. Hansel’s plan to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find their way home fails miserably and he and Gretel are left in the forest to fend for themselves. It is there that they discover a house made of Gingerbread. Little did they know the house belongs to a Wicked Old Witch. Will Hansel and Gretel escape the Witch and find their way home? Virtual Field Trip, The Boy Who Cried Wolf
A "Halloweeny" version of this classic tale. The boy is bored watching his lamb while waiting to go trick or treating. He decides to play an early trick by activating his dad’s wolf alarm, the “Wolf Alert 3000.” Tricking his dad is all fun and games until a real wolf shows up. The Wolf plays some tricks of his own while trying to make the lamb his treat. Will the audience help the boy escape from the wolf and save poor Lamby? Find out in “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.”

A dragon has been spotted in the hills above the castle, and her father, the King, has been giving all of the kingdom’s gold to a wizard who claims he can keep the dragon away. A nutty version of the classic fairy tale done Puppet Art Theater style. Little Red and her dog Fifi are taking pepperoni pizza to Grandma’s when they run into the wolf. Wolf loves pizza and plots to get Red’s. Join Little Red, Fifi and Grandma as they try to keep the wolf from eating them and their pepperoni pizza.

This production starts with the classic race of the Tortoise and the Hare. Hare, super speedy; Tortoise, slow and steady. Who will win? The conclusion of the race takes place on the “Troll Bridge” waking up the Grumpy Old Troll. Three Billy Goats must find a way to outwit the Troll and get across the bridge so they can enjoy the field of green, green grass. Little Billy, his older sister Brittany, and their father Bruno all try to trip-trap their way across the bridge. Will they make it?

Yes, the fee is listed under each event. The fee is for each device viewing the presentation. (Occasionally we may offer a free field trip.)
In Zoom Webinar participants cannot turn their video or audio so you will only ever hear and see the performers during the event. Chat is also disabled.
Yes. The fee is per device. You are welcome to gather multiple classes together and view on one device.
You pay via credit card when you register on the Zoom website. If your school secretary, PTA rep. or principal is registering your class please make sure they register with your email so you’ll get the link to the virtual show.
Yes, however, only the performance will be recorded, the students are never recorded.
We recommend using external speakers facing the students and setting up the presenter on a projector or a large monitor attached to your connecting device. The program will be broadcast over Zoom Webinar in High Definition.
The Q&A feature in Zoom Webinar will be active during the session. Teachers can enter their students’ questions in the Q&A feature.
We have room for 500 classrooms per field trip. Fortunately, Zoom Webinar allows everyone to have a front row seat.
