Want to give your students an amazing and fun field trip…from the comfort of your classrooms? Field trips are fun and stimulating for students but come with a litany of headaches. You have to deal with buses, permission slips, and a slew of other logistics.
But there is a better way.
What if you could give your students a field trip experience while still in the classroom? Our fun and amazing virtual field trips for elementary school students give you the education and enjoyment of a field trip without any fuss. And this kind of program is far better than most virtual school assemblies.
Many virtual school assemblies are merely performances in front of a camera. While they are fun, those kinds of assembly programs do not take full advantage of the virtual environment. That’s why we at Puppet Art Theater decided to go a lot further with our virtual programs.
Each virtual field trip starts with a captivating performance of one of our fun interactive puppet theater productions. Each show tells a complete from beginning to end. With classic tales like “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Three Little Pigs,” and many more, these shows stimulate a love of storytelling and reading in your students.
These productions are also state-of-the-art. Each program is enhanced with animation, special effects, and much more. It’s like watching a Saturday morning cartoon…with better production values!
And that’s just the beginning.
After the production ends, your students will participate in a backstage tour of our puppet studios. You’ll discover how we bring our puppet friends (and their stories) to vibrant life. It’s an amazing, one-of-a-kind way to get a behind-the-scenes look at a fascinating art form.
To join in on the fun simply choose a date and show from the list below and click on the “reserve your spot” button to register your class. (See Frequently Asked Questions.)
If you’d like to book a live, virtual performance just for your class or school on a date and time of your choice, you can book that here: In-Person and Virtual Shows.
Have questions? Be sure to check out our Virtual Field Trips FAQ below.
With the season pass you are invited to all 10 performances and all 18 performance dates. Plus you’ll be able to watch (and re-watch) recordings of each performance and receive teacher resource sheets for each show with links to curriculum ideas, puppet building videos and more.
